British Seaside

Reminisce at Britain’s beautiful seaside resorts
Rugged cliffs, golden sands and friendly resorts – no wonder some of our fondest childhood memories are of holidays spent by the sea. The best of the British seaside is within easy reach on our tours to the nation’s coastline – from the sleepy fishing villages of the south-west to the vast empty beaches of East Anglia.

Here's an overview of our British Seaside holidays. Have a browse and then use our Holiday Finder to search for great value breaks departing from your local area.

Linger Longer - Torbay & the Isle of Wight

Our refreshing new break combines the beauty of the English Riviera with the old-fashioned charm of the Isle of Wight. Both popular since Victorian times, they have a lot in common; natural beauty, charming resort towns, sandy beaches and a stunning coastline, making them firm favourites as holiday destinations to this day. Blow away the cobwebs and explore the best of both on our traditional seaside getaway.

Isle of Wight Delight

From the striking natural majesty of The Needles to the quaint, peaceful inland villages, the Isle of Wight is a haven of old-fashioned charm and inspiring scenery. A firm favourite of Queen Victoria in the 19th century, the island is one of the UK’s most popular destinations and it’s not hard to see why. With elegant resort towns, spotless beaches and miles of unspoilt coastline, the Isle of Wight is a timeless holiday destination.

Newquay, Eden Project & the Cream of Cornwall

From the clouds rolling across the panoramic wilderness of Bodmin Moor to the rugged cliffs marking the arrival of the Atlantic Ocean, Cornwall is a region of varied landscapes. Wavy golden sands meet bustling seaside towns along a dramatic coastline that evokes the memory of childhood holidays. Described as the ‘Jewel in Cornwall’s Crown’, we’ll be based in the beach resort of Newquay.

Skegness, Lincoln & Springfield Festival Gardens

Thanks to its lovely bay, traditional seafront attractions and pleasant atmosphere, the bracing seaside resort of Skegness is still a favourite among holidaymakers today. From here we’ll visit the fantastic market at Boston, the compact cathedral city of Lincoln and see the amazing horticultural displays at Springfield Festival Gardens.

A Weekend in Canterbury & France

This weekend blends one of the most important cathedral cities in the land with an included visit to one of the most beautiful coastal towns in north-east France. From our base on the Kent coast, we spend a day in lovely Canterbury as well as crossing the Channel by ferry to visit the charming French seaside port of Boulogne-sur-Mer, a delightful mix of rich heritage and modernity.

Bournemouth, Poole & the New Forest

The ever-popular resorts of the south coast are always a lovely place to escape to. The Isle of Wight and its unspoilt seaside charm is but a short boat ride away across the Solent, while the glades and gorse of the New Forest provide a peaceful contrast to the bustle of Bournemouth.

Isle of Wight Experience

The adults-only Norton Grange Coastal Village is situated on the Isle of Wight’s west coast near Yarmouth. The excellent accommodation is chalet-style, and the complex also boasts a huge range of leisure facilities including a games room and indoor heated swimming pool. Hearty carvery dinners are served in the Cabaret Diner and entertainment takes place every evening.

Elegant Southport, Chester & East Lancs Railway

A traditional Victorian seaside town on the north west coast, Southport is home to twenty miles of unspoilt coastline and the oldest iron pier in the country. With beautiful beaches and the largest undeveloped sand dunes in the UK, Southport is the perfect base from which to explore the north west.

North Devon Delights

From the bustling historic market towns to the spectacular steam railways and horse-drawn barges, North Devon is a nostalgic nod to holidays gone by. It is also home to some of the finest beaches in the country and is world renowned for its varied wildlife, nature and beauty.

Historic Canterbury, Rye & a visit to France

The Garden of England is a fascinating county steeped in history, from the cobbled lanes of charming Canterbury, home to one of the finest cathedrals in the world, to the medieval Cinque Port of Rye and attractive town of Battle. We’ll also venture across the Channel to France and the charming seaside port of Boulogne-sur-Mer.
