From the striking natural majesty of The Needles to the quaint, peaceful inland villages, the Isle of Wight is a haven of old-fashioned charm and inspiring scenery. A firm favourite of Queen Victoria in the 19th century, the island is one of the UK’s most popular destinations and it’s not hard to see why. With elegant resort towns, spotless beaches and miles of unspoilt coastline, the Isle of Wight is a timeless holiday destination.

From the clouds rolling across the panoramic wilderness of Bodmin Moor to the rugged cliffs marking the arrival of the Atlantic Ocean, Cornwall is a region of varied landscapes. Wavy golden sands meet bustling seaside towns along a dramatic coastline that evokes the memory of childhood holidays. Described as the ‘Jewel in Cornwall’s Crown’, we’ll be based in the beach resort of Newquay.

Thanks to its lovely bay, traditional seafront attractions and pleasant atmosphere, the bracing seaside resort of Skegness is still a favourite among holidaymakers today. From here we’ll visit the fantastic market at Boston, the compact cathedral city of Lincoln and see the amazing horticultural displays at Springfield Festival Gardens.

This weekend blends one of the most important cathedral cities in the land with an included visit to one of the most beautiful coastal towns in north-east France. From our base on the Kent coast, we spend a day in lovely Canterbury as well as crossing the Channel by ferry to visit the charming French seaside port of Boulogne-sur-Mer, a delightful mix of rich heritage and modernity.

The adults-only Norton Grange Coastal Village is situated on the Isle of Wight’s west coast near Yarmouth. The excellent accommodation is chalet-style, and the complex also boasts a huge range of leisure facilities including a games room and indoor heated swimming pool. Hearty carvery dinners are served in the Cabaret Diner and entertainment takes place every evening.
