The coaches are air-conditioned, with comfortable seats and expert drivers who will take you safely from A to B while you sit back and relax.

Here is everything you need to know about travelling by coach:

• Travelling by coach saves you worrying about the cost of fuel because everything is included in the holiday price. And travelling in a group is better for the environment.
• You’ll be travelling with like-minded people from your area on your RHS holiday. There’s no pressure to socialise, of course, but for those travelling alone, it’s a fantastic opportunity to make new friends.
• Many gardens and historic houses are hidden away off the beaten track. This is part of their charm! You can leave the map at home and let the driver take care of all the driving.
• Legal requirements mean that drivers have to make rest stops at service stations. These are designed for everyone’s safety but do mean that your journey may take a little longer than if you were driving yourself. These breaks are also a great chance for you to stretch your legs and use the facilities.
• Very occasionally the drivers will use their discretion to slightly alter an itinerary. They will only do so for reasons out of our control, such as bad weather or closed roads.

• We do not want anyone to feel left out and so the make your own way customers still get a seat on the coach for all the excursions. So we keep your seat free during the journey to the hotel, just so you can use it for the day trips that are included in your holiday.
• As you won’t be on the coach between home and the hotel and back again, we offer a discount of £10 per person off the cost of your holiday.
• As you are making your own way you are not limited by pick-up points so you can go on this holiday wherever you are located in the World.

• This exclusive collaboration with Just Go! Holidays allows you to explore the RHS’s wonderful gardens, shows and selected Partner Gardens a little further from home.
• Leave your car behind to visit gardens and other places of interest that are further afield.
• These holidays have been specially selected to pick you up in your area and travel directly to your hotel, allowing you to relax from the minute you board the coach.
• With our specially tailored itineraries the hard work is done and the tickets bought for you. Where it is possible, we have arranged guided tours at the gardens and preview visits at the shows, enabling you to see more than if you visited independently.
