Our range of The Crown tours

Loved by millions, the popular TV series, The Crown, is about to begin its final journey. Series six is here, and it is ready to grace our TV screens for the last time.

The show follows the reign of the late Queen Elizabeth II. From her early days as a young monarch, we see how she faced both personal and political challenges throughout the years. While an official storyline has not been confirmed, it’s thought that series six will cover major events in the 1990s and early 2000s.

The Crown was filmed in several locations, but perhaps the most well-known is Belvoir Castle. Belvoir Castle, pronounced "beaver castle", is a magnificent stately home located in Leicestershire, England.

Over the centuries, the castle has been rebuilt and expanded multiple times, resulting in the grand architectural masterpiece that stands today. The stunning interiors of the castle are equally impressive, showcasing opulent rooms, extravagant decorations, and a remarkable collection of art and antiques.

Belvoir Castle has been the ancestral home of the Duke of Rutland for over 500 years. The current castle, completed in the early 19th century, replaced the previous medieval structure that was partially destroyed by fire. Today, it serves as a private residence for the Manners family, who rigorously maintain and preserve its legacy.

If you enjoy the show and would like an opportunity to head behind the scenes, we think you will love our ‘The Crown at Belvoir & The Accidental Duchess Exclusive’ tour.
