Rhine In Flames River Cruise
Day 1
Ferry to Calais and on to our hotel in Germany, arriving late evening.
Day 2 – Cochem & Rhine in Flames Cruise
We spend the morning in Cochem. Surrounded by steep vineyards, this lovely town of half-timbered houses and winding streets also boasts a flower-bedecked promenade and a magnificent castle that rises dramatically above the town.
In the evening, we embark on a cruise along the Rhine where we enjoy dinner on board our boat and witness the spectacular Rhine in Flames fireworks and pyrotechnic displays. From our perfect vantage point on the river, we can watch this breathtaking spectacle where an ever-changing kaleidoscope of lights erupts above the river and into the surrounding valley.
Day 3 – Rüdesheim
We visit the picturesque town of Rüdesheim where there’ll be time to wander the lovely streets including the charming, cobbled Drosselgasse, packed with wine taverns, restaurants and half-timbered buildings or visit the famous traditional Christmas shop, open all year round.
Day 4
Travel back to Calais for our return ferry home.
