Royal Court Hotel, Coventry (JG2 Rating)

The Royal Court is a beautiful Grade II listed country house, set in picturesque gardens. Facilities include en-suite bathrooms, television and tea/coffee-making facilities. There is also a heated indoor pool, gym, sauna and steam room (small charge applies). Meals are buffet style

Hotels with a JG2 rating are a mixture of larger hotels and privately owned properties. Décor and furnishings may be simple but are clean and well maintained. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, TV and may have tea/coffee making facilities. Food may be buffet style in some of the larger hotels. Services may be limited but efficient.

Drawing in a wealth of visitors from afar every year, this elegant Regency town is loved for its historical connections, beautiful architecture, and immaculate gardens. Discover its famous mineral springs or stroll along the wide boulevards lined with beautiful buildings.  

 

Stow-on-the-Wold & Bourton-on-the-Water (full day)

We head to Bourton-on-the-Water with its low 18th-century bridges and pretty riverbanks with a range of quaint tea rooms and tempting cafés to enjoy. We also explore the beautiful market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, renowned for its traditional stone buildings and wonderful collection of artisan boutiques.

 

Stratford-upon-Avon (half day)

We journey to the beautiful town of Stratford-upon-Avon, forever associated with William Shakespeare. Fans of The Bard can visit the house in which he was born, and there’s a chance to wander the riverside gardens or discover the town’s theatres including the Swan Theatre, home of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
