We then visit the medieval walled town of Conwy, home to the imposing Conwy Castle, considered to be among the finest surviving medieval fortifications in Britain, as well as a quaint harbour with traditional pubs and snug cafés.
Chester (full day)
For our second included excursion we travel to the medieval city of Chester, famed for its beautiful black and white Tudor buildings and unique ‘rows’ where the picturesque galleries run above the central shops. Here we have time to explore the great sights of the city such as the town hall and the Norman-era cathedral or refresh ourselves at a selection of bars and restaurants.
