Itinerary

We travel to the distinctive Botanic Gardens at Samarès Manor, where the exceptional ground quality creates a uniquely fertile environment to grow diverse and beautiful plant collections in a series of specially curated gardens. During our visit, we enjoy tea/coffee and cake at the tea rooms before making our way back to the hotel.

We take a delightful tour along Jersey’s spectacular coastline. Highlights include St Brelade’s Bay, one of the island’s most popular resort beaches, the rugged north coast overlooking the neighbouring Channel Islands and the famous Corbière lighthouse on the south-west corner of the island. We also visit St Ouen’s Bay with its miles of golden sand and rolling Atlantic waves – a prime spot for surfing, and picturesque Gorey harbour overlooked by Mont Orgueil Castle.

First staged in 1902 in celebration of the Coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, Jersey’s Battle of Flowers is the island’s oldest event.

This afternoon, we soak up the atmosphere of the town as we gather to watch flower-festooned floats parade through the streets in a bright display.

After a day spent exploring the island at leisure, we reconvene in the evening and travel to People's Park to view a static display of floats ahead of a night parade to experience the floral displays in a whole new way.

Later we return to our hotel for our final night stay.
