With endless beautiful countryside, quaint cottages, enchanting villages and idyllic market towns, the Cotswolds is always a lovely place to explore. Join us as we discover some of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’s fairytale highlights, honey-hued Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, and Broadway, and also head to Stratford-Upon-Avon, a pretty town of Tudor buildings and the birthplace of William Shakespeare.

Itinerary

Included Excursion
Stratford-upon-Avon (full day)

Our first excursion takes us to the beautiful town of Stratford-upon-Avon, forever associated with William Shakespeare. Fans of The Bard can visit the house in which he was born, and there’s a chance to wander the riverside gardens or discover the town’s theatres including the Swan Theatre, home of the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Cotswold Villages (full day)

We explore some of the Cotswolds’ most beautiful towns and villages. We head first to the market town Moreton-in-Marsh, set in the Evenlode valley and filled with historic buildings and a range of quaint shops selling local produce for you to enjoy. We then make our way to the beautiful market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, renowned for its traditional stone buildings and wonderful collection of artisanal boutiques. Finally, we visit Broadway which boasts a wide main street of picture-perfect cottages, pubs and shops.

Accommodation

We’ll stay at a well-appointed hotel in the Coventry area such as the Britannia Hotel, Coventry or Royal Court Hotel, Coventry. The comfortable rooms are en suite and other facilities include a bar and restaurant. All meals will be buffet style.

Your hotel will be confirmed approximately 3 weeks before departure, therefore we cannot guarantee that the hotel will have a lift and/or ground floor rooms and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

Hotel Rating

Hotels with a JG2 rating are a mixture of larger hotels and privately owned properties. Décor and furnishings may be simple but are clean and well maintained. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, TV and may have tea/coffee making facilities. Food may be buffet style in some of the larger hotels. Services may be limited but efficient.
