Arrival

From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel by coach to our hotel, arriving in time for dinner.

Friday
Ladies Day

After breakfast, we travel to Aintree Racecourse for Ladies Day, where fashion and glamour mixes with top-tier horse races. Our ticket is for the Festival Zone Enclosure, which offers excellent viewing over the course, the Parade Ring and the Winner’s Enclosure, as well as access to unreserved seating with big screens, plenty of food and drink options plus fantastic live music, entertainment and betting facilities. When the racing has finished, we rejoin the coach and head back to our hotel for dinner.

Saturday
The Grand National

This morning, we make our way back to Aintree for the highlight of our break, the Grand National. Here we witness the ultimate test of bravery and stamina as the best steeplechasers and their riders take on the most challenging fences in horse racing. Full of drama and excitement, this truly is the greatest show on turf! After the final race we return to our hotel for dinner and our final evening, full of stories from the day.

Sunday
Return Home

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and head for home.

Accommodation

We’ll stay at a well-appointed hotel. The comfortable rooms are en suite and other facilities include a bar and restaurant.

Your hotel will be confirmed approximately 3 weeks before departure, therefore we cannot guarantee that the hotel will have a lift and/or ground floor rooms and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

Hotel Rating

Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.

Accommodation in our JG4 category is of an even higher standard, typically offering a wide range of facilities and services. Bedrooms are designed to make your stay the most comfortable possible and the staff provide a service that reflects the detail and quality. You can also expect higher standards of food and beverages.
