Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival

From a morning pickup in your local area we travel to our hotel, arriving in time for dinner.

Day 2
York

We travel to York, renowned for its Roman, Viking and medieval heritage with lots of attractions for visitors to enjoy. The streets are full of historic buildings, traditional shops and cafés, and a number of museums and art galleries. The city’s sites are impressive, including the striking York Minster and the city walls, which date back to Roman times and are an integral part of York’s unique character.

Day 3
Scarborough at Leisure

After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and enjoy some free time in Scarborough before heading for home.

Accommodation

A Scarborough landmark, the Grand Hotel is an impressive Victorian building overlooking the harbour and South Bay. En-suite rooms are simple and comfortable with tea and coffee-making facilities and TV. Meals are buffet style.

Hotel Rating

Hotels with a JG2 rating are a mixture of larger hotels and privately owned properties. Décor and furnishings may be simple but are clean and well maintained. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, TV and may have tea/coffee making facilities. Food may be buffet style in some of the larger hotels. Services may be limited but efficient.
