Itinerary

30th December
Arrival

After joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in.

New Year’s Eve
Sandwich

We spend the last day of the year in the charming town of Sandwich, which lies on the pretty River Stour and was once one of the Cinque Ports. With a preserved centre dotted with original buildings such as several listed public houses, the town provides a unique taste of medieval England. Stroll through the narrow winding streets or enjoy the walk along the old town walls, one of the most complete defensive circuits of any English medieval town. Later, we enjoy our New Year celebrations at the hotel, including a Hogmanay buffet dinner.

New Year’s Day
Canterbury

We kickstart the brand-new year with a trip to Canterbury; a rich mosaic of meandering little alleyways, a world-famous cathedral and plenty of medieval architectural leftovers. Spend the day exactly as you please, whether it’s discovering the majestic city walls or enjoying a revitalising stroll through the riverside gardens, the choice is yours. This evening we enjoy the chef’s buffet dinner back at the hotel.

2nd January
Return Home

After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head for home.
