Itinerary

We catch the ferry to Calais and continue to our hotel in Reims, where we stay on a bed-and-breakfast basis. For those wanting to dine out, a shuttle runs to Reims centre and returns to the hotel in the evening.

After breakfast, the coach takes us to the town of  the self-titled capital du champagne in the heart of the vineyards. We visit a celebrated champagne house and enjoy tasting a tipple or two before we rejoin the coach and head to the city of Reims. Set against the backdrop of the magnificent Reims Cathedral, the market features over 140 wooden chalets offering a variety of seasonal treats, crafts and gifts. We can enjoy traditional French delicacies such as mulled wine, gingerbread, and roasted chestnuts while exploring the charming stalls. There is time to have dinner (not included) before returning to the hotel in the evening.

We spend the day in Paris for the highlight of our trip. Paris Christmas Markets are a magical experience, filled with festive cheer, twinkling lights and many tasty seasonal delights to enjoy. We are treated to a Seine River Cruise the perfect way to take in the many sights of Paris. Enjoy an early dinner (not included) before the coach picks us up to return to the hotel.

Join the guided city tour (£25pp) taking in all the main sights, from the Arc de Triomphe to Notre Dame and, of course, the Eiffel Tower.

We check out of our hotel and head to Dunkirk. We enjoy a few hours for lunch (not included) before continuing to Calais, for our return ferry home.
