Itinerary

From a morning pickup in your local area we travel by coach to Llandudno for some free time. There is plenty to do in this ever-popular seaside town, from a stroll along the Victorian pier and the golden beach flanked by two headlands to a browse in the Victoria shopping centre. Later we check into our hotel, where we enjoy dinner and our overnight stay.

After breakfast, we spend some time at leisure in Llandudno before we board the Waverley, the world’s last seagoing, passenger-carrying paddle steamer, for our relaxing cruise. Experience the roar of the mighty engines as we take in the superb views around the Great Orme headland and Puffin Island, a haven for seabirds such as cormorants, guillemots and puffins, of course! Upon our return, we re-join the coach and head for home.

Accommodation

Beautifully located on the Llandudno’s promenade, directly overlooking the beach and with views out to sea, the County Hotel, Llandudno offers comfortable and stylish accommodation in a well-maintained Victorian setting. The hotel includes a bar and restaurant, while the en-suite rooms feature a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi and tea and coffee-making facilities.

Hotel Rating

Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.
