  • 2 nights at a selected hotel (JG2 or JG3 rating) with dinner & breakfast
  • Excursion to York
  • En-route visit to Skipton

Itinerary

Day 1

From a morning pickup in your local area we travel to our hotel in time to enjoy dinner.

Day 2

We head to the lovely city of York to spend some time at leisure. Take the chance to wander the narrow cobbled streets with their distinctive overhanging buildings or discover the city’s beautiful Norman Minster, which boasts some of the finest stained-glass windows in the world. Alternatively, why not enjoy a stroll around the city walls that have stood since Roman times and wrap around the city for 2.5 miles or visit the famous Betty’s tea rooms? Tonight, we dine together at the hotel.

Day 3

En-route home we visit Skipton, known as ‘The Gateway to the Dales’. With its imposing Norman castle, revitalising riverside pathways and charming cobbled lanes lined with unique shops and cafés, there is plenty to see here. We rejoin the coach in the mid-afternoon for our journey home.

Accommodation

We’ll stay at a well-appointed hotel (JG2 or JG3 rating). The comfortable rooms are en suite and other facilities include a bar and restaurant.

Hotel accessibility information

Your hotel will be confirmed approximately 3 weeks before departure, therefore we cannot guarantee that the hotel will have a lift and/or ground floor rooms and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.
