We travel to the elegant spa town of Harrogate, where notable sights include the Royal Pump Room Museum and the attractive Montpellier Quarter with its pedestrianised streets lined with 19^th-century buildings that are now home to galleries, boutiques and cafés. Be sure to stop at the famous Betty’s tea rooms!

Our day takes us to the lovely city of York where we have time at leisure to explore. Enjoy a visit to the glorious York Minster, wander through the ‘Shambles’- a warren of narrow streets and overhanging buildings dating back to medieval times, or take a stroll along the ancient walls which surround the city.

A Scarborough landmark, the Grand Hotel is an impressive Victorian building overlooking the harbour and South Bay. En-suite rooms are simple and comfortable with tea and coffee-making facilities and TV. Meals are buffet style.
