Itinerary

Day 1

From a morning pick-up in your local area, we journey by coach to our hotel. After checking in we travel to Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena where there’s free time to grab an evening meal before the showstopping Jane McDonald concert. Make sure you bring plenty of glitz and glamour for a dazzling evening of musical entertainment and laughs. After the show, we rejoin the coach and return to the hotel for our overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and make our way into Liverpool. A city steeped in history, culture and attractions; Liverpool is one of the most popular city break destinations in the UK. Check out The Beatles exhibition in the Albert Dock or take a peek inside the famous Cavern Club where the lads once played – with free time to explore, the choice is yours! Later, we rejoin the coach mid-afternoon for our journey home.

Accommodation

We stay at a well-appointed selected hotel, such as the Holiday Inn Haydock. The comfortable rooms are en suite and other facilities include a bar and restaurant.

Hotel accessibility information

Your hotel will be confirmed approximately 3 weeks before departure, therefore we cannot guarantee that the hotel will have a lift and/or ground floor rooms and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

Hotel Rating

Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.

Dining options

We recommend pre-booking a restaurant in the vicinity of the venue well in advance as they tend to book up early. Bookings should be made for approximately 6pm which should give you enough time to enjoy your meal and head to the venue before the show starts.

Accessibility

In most cases, event tickets will be for seats located in middle or upper tiers of the venue which may require the negotiation of steps/stairs and therefore may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. While most venues have lift access, these may not serve all seating areas. There may also be some walking involved from the coach drop-off point to the entrance of the venue.
