16 March 2021
Who doesn’t love a long weekend away? Every so often it’s great to grab a few days to recharge your batteries and - now more than ever before - enjoy a change of scenery, especially after experiencing such a long lockdown hibernation over the last few months!
If you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion, fancy a coastal retreat or even an escape to the countryside, we’re bound to have the perfect weekend getaway with included excursions to make the most of your time away and convenient coach pickup locations across the UK.
With everything organised to make life easy, read on to discover some of our favourite weekend breaks in the UK which offer fantastic value for money!
Stratford-upon-Avon & Cotswold Villages Weekend
Ahh, the Cotswolds. Easily the most tip-of-the-tongue answer to the ‘name as many Areas of Natural Beauty as you can’ question in the pub quiz! With beauty-pageant good looks, clusters of golden-hued cottages snoozing in a landscape of rolling hills, babbling streams and sleepy little towns, it's the perfect place to tuck into a big portion of R&R.
Our four-day breakaway combines the perfect ratio of relaxation and exploration. With three nights in the Coventry Hill Hotel along with excursions to Stratford-upon-Avon, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway, you’ll have plenty of time to see the local sights, discover Shakespeare’s birthplace and indulge in as many Cotswold tea rooms as you like.
Isle Of Wight Weekend
Is there anything better than the Sunday afternoon during a long weekend break? You’re fully relaxed by now, you have absolutely no mundane Monday morning commitments and you’re thinking ‘ooh I probably shouldn’t have another shandy… but wait, I’m on holiday. Go on then, I deserve it!’
Now, bottle up that feeling and transport it to the lovely Isle of Wight. Complete with gallons of fresh seaside air, a three-night stay with dinner and breakfast, evening entertainment and the chance to explore Newport along with an optional island highlights tour. Can you imagine a better island escape?
Bournemouth Weekend
Famous for its seven-mile ribbon of soft sands, Bournemouth is one of the UK’s most iconic beach towns and a firm favourite for long weekend coach breaks. Get your fill of nostalgia with a stroll along the historic pier, crammed with classic amusements and countless snack stops. From pasties, sugared doughnuts and delicious ice creams, there are ample opportunities to refuel before joining our excursions...
A day trip to Poole and Swanage offers even more seaside charm, complete with wonderful colourful beach huts, and our optional excursion to Dorchester and Weymouth gives you the chance to take in those unmissable Jurassic coastline views!
Delightful Devon Weekend
With its patchwork of wild moorlands and beach-tasselled coastline, Devon was simply made for long weekends away to escape the day-to-day! We stay in the lovely Georgian resort of Exmouth during our Delightful Devon Weekend - sitting pretty at the mouth of the River Exe, its most famously known as the gateway to the Jurrasic coast and is thought to be the oldest resort in Devon!
With return coach travel and three nights away, our long weekend break wouldn’t be complete without visiting Exeter - with its stunning cathedral and lively cobbled quayside area - plus an optional excursion to Sidmouth, featuring a lovely esplanade and pretty Regency townhouses.
