All New Royal Tours

06 February 2023

This is a truly iconic time in British history; last year we said goodbye to the oldest and longest-serving sovereign in our country’s history, our beloved Queen Elizabeth II, and this year will see the coronation of King Charles III, which is set to be a once-in-a-lifetime royal event!

With that in mind, there has never been a better time to celebrate our national pride and discover more about the Royal Family on one of our specially created breaks. Find our top five picks below.

The King’s Coronation Weekend

This is set to be a celebration like no other as we head into London during  The King’s Coronation Weekend. Be in the heart of the action and mark the occasion however you like! Maybe head towards Westminster Abbey, the Mall and Buckingham Palace or join in the fun at a London street party - just remember to bring your party poppers and your Union Jack flags and get ready to raise a glass to the new King! It’s going to be a fantastic royal occasion.

Queen Elizabeth II’s Final Resting Place & London

If you didn’t manage to attend Her Late Majesty The Queen’s Lying-in-State at the Palace of Westminster last September, then you may like to pay your respects during this special two-day break instead. Take the chance to explore Windsor Castle with included entrance to St George’s Chapel, the final resting place of our late Queen before discovering the delights that this peaceful, riverside town has to offer. Then, on day two, we head into London to enjoy time at leisure. There are plenty of other royal landmarks to explore or simply spend the day however you please.

Royal Windsor Castle, Westminster Abbey & Henley-on-Thames

Don’t miss this leisurely five-day getaway which combines the captivating sights of our capital city (guided coach tour and a trip to the iconic Westminster Abbey included) with the tranquility of Windsor, Henley-on-Thames and Marlow. This is the ideal way to take in some majestic and postcard-perfect British landmarks, while ticking off plenty of historical delights too!

Royal Norfolk, Sandringham House & Medieval Norwich

While the jewel in the crown of this ‘right royal’ adventure affords us the opportunity to get up close to the famous Sandringham House - the astonishing beautiful country home of the Royal Family nestled on Norfolk’s north coast - we have also packed this five-day break with plenty of other highlights, including visits to Norwich and Wroxham, plus a memorable cruise along the Norfolk Broads on the Mississippi Paddle Steamer, which happens to be one of our customers all-time favourite excursions!

Regal Scotland, Glamis Castle, Royal Yacht & Edinburgh

We couldn’t create a Royal collection of breakaways without including Scotland now could we? You are cordially invited on a five-day tour of this breathtakingly beautiful country known for its long-standing connections to the Royal Family. First up is a trip to Glamis Castle, the childhood home of the Queen Mother, along with a visit to Royal Yacht Britannia in Edinburgh, once a floating palace and the setting for Prince William and Prince Harry’s summer holidays. You do not want to miss this!
