Norwich (half day)
We travel to the charming city of Norwich. One of the most complete medieval cities in the country, Norwich is steeped in history and atmosphere, with winding lanes lined with period buildings and an imposing Norman cathedral, which boasts the second tallest spire in England.
Norfolk Broads (half day)
We spend half a day exploring the unique landscape of the Norfolk Broads by coach, with its scenic waterways set in beautiful countryside, studded with thatched cottages, ancient hamlets and picturesque towns. We call at charming villages such as Horning and Potter Heigham, one of the main boating centres on the Broads.
Optional Excursion
Aldeburgh, Southwold & Oulton Broad – £12pp (full day)
On our optional excursion we head to Suffolk’s Heritage Coast to visit the lovely coastal town of Aldeburgh. The town is renowned for its Blue Flag shingle beach and the fishermen’s huts where fresh fish are still sold daily. We continue to the charming seaside town of Southwold, where we can explore the award-winning pier and bustling harbour, or stroll along the beautiful beach. We then head to Oulton Broad, the southern gateway to the Broads National Park which offers lovely views.
