Exeter (full day)
On our included excursion we head to Exeter, a handsome city that offers a beautiful cathedral, historic quayside and a great range of shops.
Optional Excursions
Dawlish & Teignmouth – £8pp (half day)
Our first is a half day excursion to Dawlish and Teignmouth. We head first to the traditional seaside resort of Dawlish, nestled between striking red sandstone cliffs and boasting several beautiful beaches. We then continue on to Teignmouth, a handsome estuary town that boasts an elegant Georgian crescent, promenade and Victorian pier with fine views across the bay.
Buckfast Abbey & Totnes – £8pp (half day)
Our second optional excursion takes us to Buckfast Abbey, a lovely Abbey church rebuilt on its medieval foundations. It boasts large grounds, three gift shops and a restaurant. We then head to Totnes, a charming market town on the River Dart where a Norman motte and bailey castle commands spectacular views of the Dart Valley.
