Overnight Manchester Christmas Market Break with Coronation Street Set Tour
Day 1
From a pickup in your local area, our coach takes us to Manchester. Upon arrival in the mid-afternoon, we can soak up the wonderful festive atmosphere and admire the bright Christmas lights at the city’s Christmas Markets. Packed with gifts, clothes, food and drink, jewellery and more, take the chance to start your Christmas shopping or simply take in the atmosphere and the variety of offerings. Enjoy a spot of dinner at the market or one of the city’s many eateries, before we travel by coach to our hotel for check in and our overnight stay.
Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and head to Coronation Street’s home in MediaCityUK on Salford Quays. We enjoy a guided tour of the external sets, taking in Coronation Street (walking down the cobbles, past iconic landmarks such as the Rovers Return and The Kabin), Rosamund Street and the newly extended Victoria Street. Listen to stories from yesteryear, hear filming secrets, take a selfie on the street and walk in the footsteps of your favourite characters. We rejoin the coach for the journey home in the afternoon.
