Day 1
From a morning pickup in your local area we travel to our hotel in time to enjoy dinner.
Day 2
We begin our day with a visit to the historic village of Haworth, home of the Brontë sisters. The iconic parsonage and rolling moors transport us into another era, where we can visit several literary landmarks including Haworth railway station, part of an authentic preserved steam railway and a filming location for The Railway Children. We travel on to Leeds where there’s free time to explore the city and do some Christmas shopping, with a range of high street brands, quirky independent shops, indoor markets and historic arcades to choose from. Tonight we dine together at the hotel.
Day 3
En-route home we visit Skipton, known as ‘The Gateway to the Dales’. With its imposing Norman castle, there is plenty to see here including the yearly Yuletide Festival. Packed with a range of festive stalls and unique street acts, the streets of this beautiful market town burst with a seasonal atmosphere. We rejoin the coach in the mid-afternoon for our journey home.
